Patient 'opting out' advice
- Centre needs to document that refusal to protect the centre, in case an audit shows a discrepancy between the number of centre patients reported and the actual count on site.
- The patient needs to be counseled and informed that his/her name will be out of the eMOSS (Deceased Donor Recipient Waiting List) by default.
